Lead and perform advanced inspections of aircraft systems, production components, and support operations.
Validate the proper installation and serviceability of operational components.
Review and develop operational procedures to ensure quality standards.
Function as the on-site Aviation Safety Official and ensure safety protocols are followed.
Capture, analyze, and document process information to confirm compliance or identify deviations from standards.
Provide feedback and training to customers and internal teams on quality standards and procedures.
Maintain and update quality documentation and records.
Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for identified issues.
Utilize advanced inspection tools and techniques to verify product specifications.
Mentor and train junior inspectors and support staff.
Qualifications You Must Have:
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
3+ Years experience in Quality Inspection or related field.
Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
Proficient ability to understand and interpret technical schematics and documents.
In-depth understanding of electrical wiring concepts.
Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Products.
Must be willing and able to work extended hours, holidays and shift schedules as required
A United States Government Security Clearance is required for employment. Qualifications We Prefer:
Knowledge and ability to interpret geometric dimensioning and tolerance.
Experience drafting work instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Certified in Network+, Security+, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), and/or A+.
Experience with Federal Communications Commission (FCC) or FCC General Radio Operator License (GROL).
Basic understanding of spectrometer, oscilloscope, and/or other measuring equipment.
Working knowledge of ISO 9000 and AS 9100 standards.
Experience in the aerospace or defense industry.
