The Krakow Program Management Office team is responsible for the delivery of our Critical Communications Solutions Infrastructure programs.

Job Description

As the Project Manager, you will manage large-scale software projects or significant portions of highly complex programs. This role requires you to exercise strong leadership in coordinating diverse, cross-functional teams, including Software Development, Supply Chain, Business Operations, Quality, and Regulatory Affairs. You will own the complete project lifecycle, including developing and overseeing the comprehensive project plan. Furthermore, you will lead and participate in all weekly and monthly project status meetings and reviews. You will drive communication by issuing regular status reports that detail project progress, milestones achieved, and upcoming tasks. To maintain control, you will utilize a full suite of Project Management (PM) tools—such as schedules, change orders, risk assessments, and action item logs—to analyze complex issues and deliver timely resolutions. Finally, you will motivate and inspire the project team to achieve optimal performance and results, while effectively managing internal and external stakeholder relationships to ensure alignment and support.


Basic Requirements

We are seeking a candidate with a Bachelor's degree and over five years of dedicated Project/Program Management experience. The ideal applicant will be fluent in both traditional (Waterfall) and Agile project management practices. Prior People Management experience is desirable.

Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations: 

  • Organize programs and activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization.

  • Develop and manage project schedules to support the strategic direction of the organization.

  • Identify key requirements needed from cross-functional teams and external vendors.

  • Manage change requests and communication around the requests.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, and timing.

  • Manage program and multiple project teams for optimal return-on-investment, ensuring all program goals are met.

  • Conduct project team meetings.

  • Produce accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout its life cycle.

  • Present program status as required to different organization levels.

  • Work with key stakeholders to identify, analyze and assess program risks. Establish and track risk mitigation plans. Drive for closures. 

  • Work with a diverse array of talents and responsibilities.

  • Work with stakeholders to make communication easy and transparent regarding project issues and decisions.

  • Implement and manage changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved.

  • Develop an evaluation method to assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement.

Additional Qualified Skills:

  • Experience with launching end-to-end Software programs.

  • Able to work on complex issues and develop resolutions where deep analytical skills and creativity is required

  • Proficient in Google Applications – Google Sheets, Docs, Slides, and Drive etc.

  • PMP certification, Certified SCRUM master and/or other project management certification is preferred

  • Proven competencies in using various Agile competencies in managing projects

  • Able to work with different levels from team members to Senior Leaders within the organization

  • Strong command of change management issues and methodologies

  • Proven leadership ability with high energy and enthusiasm to inspire and motivate others

  • Hands-on, results-oriented and attention to detail

  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and changing priorities.

  • Ability to complete projects with minimal supervision

  • Ability to ask penetrating questions, detect unstated assumptions and resolve conflicts, as well as more general management and team-player skills

  • Very strong team player. Should possess the ability to foster teamwork and a positive working environment to the project team in light of changes and challenges. Should have people skills to be able to work independently with different IT team members in different roles

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with excellent presentation skills and the ability to adapt to different audiences

  • Excellent listening skills with a strong ability to build cross-functional relationships

  • Passion for learning

  • Preferred Engineering background, but not required
