About Fidelity Dalian
Established in 2007, FIL Technology (Dalian) Limited was the Fidelity’s first wholly owned enterprise in China. The Dalian office initially served as a systems development centre to bolster Fidelity’s growing business in the Asia Pacific region, with a primary focus on providing technology and web-based support and services. The office has continued to expand in recent years and now acts as the central service hub for the Asia Pacific region supporting multiple business functions including systems development and support, systems infrastructure support, retail operations, finance accounting services and investment administration & fund accounting.
Team Description
Our team delivers end‑to‑end technical support and solutions across Mobile Apps, Transactional Websites, Phone‑based Customer Service Systems, and Operational Data Services supporting Fidelity Hong Kong WI and PI businesses. We are committed to providing stable, efficient, and scalable platforms that enable smooth daily operations. With a strong focus on customer centricity, we strive to deliver seamless and reliable experiences for Hong Kong customers.
About you role
Captioned role partners with business and technology teams to define and deliver solutions aligned with product vision and customer outcomes. This role requires a deep understanding of business needs, with the ability to analyze data to uncover user behaviors, pain points, and underlying product requirements.
The candidate must be highly data‑literate, capable of translating data insights into meaningful user stories, product enhancements, and prioritized backlogs. Candidate is expected to quickly onboard into new business domains, contributing product insights with minimal ramp‑up time. The role plays a key part in driving value realization by ensuring requirements are outcome‑focused, feasible, and measurable.
The candidate is expected to display professional ethics in his/her approach to work and exhibit a high level ownership within a demanding working environment.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with business and technology teams to translate business goals into clear, outcome‑driven product requirements.
Perform deep analysis of business needs by interpreting data to identify user behaviors, pain points, and product opportunities.
Derive and communicate clear user stories and requirements by reading meaningful narratives from complex datasets.
Own and prioritize the product backlog to ensure requirements are well‑defined, value‑focused, and delivery‑ready.
Actively contribute within cross‑functional teams of 50+ members, facilitating effective collaboration and alignment.
Rapidly onboard to new business domains, quickly building expertise and delivering product insights with minimal ramp‑up time.
Communicate effectively in professional English when engaging stakeholders and producing high‑quality documentation.
Experience and Qualifications Required
Essential Skills and Experience
Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years’ experience as a Senior Business Analyst in cross‑functional teams of 10+ members.
Strong data analytics capability, including extracting insights and user narratives from data.
Ability to analyze complex business needs and translate them into clear product requirements and user stories.
Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
Experience rapidly onboarding into new business domains and stakeholder environments.
Hands‑on experience working with business stakeholders, Tech engineers, and stakeholders in agile delivery models.
Strong stakeholder facilitation skills, including workshops and requirement reviews.
Desirable Skills and Experience
Finance domain knowledge is preferred.
Experience working in a product‑centric or Agile/Scrum delivery environment.
Familiarity with data analysis tools, dashboards, or reporting platforms.
