Technical Lead - Workday Adaptive Planning

Role Overview:
Drive the performance, reliability, and evolution of Genesys’ Workday Adaptive Planning ecosystem, enabling enterprise-wide financial planning and decision support at global scale. This role ensures seamless system integrations, data integrity, and governance alignment while influencing how planning capabilities support business growth. You will shape the future of enterprise planning infrastructure while partnering closely with Finance, IT, and cross-functional leaders to unlock automation, scalability, and insight.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the configuration, optimization, and lifecycle management of Genesys’ Workday Adaptive Planning instances

  • Drive end-to-end integrations between Adaptive Planning and enterprise systems such as Workday Financials and HCM, ensuring secure and accurate data flow

  • Design and implement scalable data pipelines using Adaptive REST APIs, JavaScript, SQL, and custom cloud loaders

  • Administer user access controls and governance frameworks aligned with SOX, ITGC, and SDLC standards

  • Lead troubleshooting efforts to resolve system performance, data accuracy, and functionality issues with measurable impact

  • Partner with Product Owners and business stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and enable new out-of-the-box and custom capabilities

  • Support and oversee system testing phases including QA, SIT, UAT, E2E, and performance testing

  • Develop comprehensive documentation and training resources to enable adoption and best practice usage across regions

Required Qualifications:

  • Demonstrate 5 or more years of experience delivering enterprise planning solutions such as Workday Adaptive Planning, Oracle EPBCS, Hyperion Planning, or Anaplan

  • Apply strong expertise in Adaptive REST APIs, JavaScript, and SQL within enterprise integration environments

  • Build and modify staging tables and custom cloud data loaders to support complex financial models

  • Implement and manage Workday Custom Cloud Data Source (CCDS) integrations including transformation and deployment

  • Configure and optimize Adaptive models using Levels, Attributes, Dimensions, Sheets, and Accounts

  • Ensure compliance with SOX, ITGC, and SDLC governance frameworks

  • Collaborate effectively with global cross-functional stakeholders to solve complex system challenges

  • Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Lead multi-model Adaptive implementations across global enterprises

  • Optimize financial planning performance for scalability and automation

  • Influence architectural decisions for enterprise planning and data ecosystems

  • Mentor teammates and enable knowledge sharing across Finance and IT functions

Compensation:

This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a commission or performance-based bonus opportunities.  

119,600.00 - $154,800.00
