About the Role

Eli Lilly is seeking a dynamic Technical Lead for Tech at Lilly to drive enterprise data management innovation in our patient space. This role requires hands-on expertise with Reltio Master Data Management and Syrenis consent management platforms. You’ll lead technical strategy, oversee platform delivery, and collaborate globally to enable data-driven transformation.
 

You’ll design, develop, and maintain robust MDM solutions to ensure data accuracy and integrity across systems. Working closely with architects, stakeholders, and integration teams, you’ll implement data models, stewardship workflows, and governance processes. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in MDM platforms (Reltio, Informatica, Semarchy), data modeling, and integration technologies, along with strong leadership and business domain knowledge.

What You Will Do

  • Lead the design, development, and delivery of data solutions using Reltio and Syrenis platforms.
  • Oversee platform upgrades, integrations, and automation initiatives to support business-critical data needs.
  • Serve as the technical expert for Reltio code management and Syrenis consent management, ensuring robust source control and compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business, tech, and vendor partners, to deliver scalable and secure data solutions.
  • Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of innovation, ownership, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive operational excellence through proactive monitoring, incident management, and process optimization.
  • Support project management activities, including planning, risk mitigation, and reporting for platform migrations and upgrades.

Your Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering, platform management, or enterprise IT roles.
  • Proven expertise in Reltio MDM and Syrenis consent management platforms.
  • Strong background in implementing match/merge logic, survivorship rules, and managing entity hierarchies.
  • Strong understanding of cloud data architectures (AWS), ETL/ELT processes, and automation frameworks.
  • Solid understanding of data governance principles, stewardship workflows, and data quality frameworks
  • Experience with source code management (GitHub), release management, and platform governance.

What You Should Bring

  • Experience with large-scale data migrations and platform modernization.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA) and audit automation.
  • Ability to lead without direct authority and create impact across matrixed teams.
  • Vendor management and cross-functional project delivery experience.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location.  The anticipated wage for this position is

$64,500 - $151,800

Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
