The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.
Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.
The Technical Architect will be an execution-focused leader, driving the full data migration lifecycle—from discovery and mapping to high-volume deployment—within a complex ecosystem of global clients and partners. As a foundational hire for our Strategic Migration CoE, this role is responsible for architecting end-to-end data strategies, ensuring the integrity of enterprise data as it moves between Salesforce orgs and legacy to Salesforce Platforms.
You will act as the primary technical authority on data and metadata movement, combining deep Salesforce platform expertise with advanced ETL methodologies. You will need to understand various different clouds, their data model and procedures functionally and make sure the data and metadata are compatible to target systems. You will work closely with stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into scalable migration patterns, ensuring that the target architecture is optimized for performance and long-term data health.
Serve as the Technical Lead for large-scale data migration workstreams, overseeing the transition of complex datasets into Salesforce (including Core, Industry Clouds, and Data Cloud).
Architect and design scalable, secure migration frameworks that handle high-volume data (LDV) while maintaining compliance with security standards and platform governor limits.
Define and oversee end-to-end data lineage, including data profiling, cleansing logic, transformation mapping, and reconciliation strategies.
Lead technical workshops and steering committees, demonstrating leadership in cutover planning, rollback strategies, and data validation testing.
Expertise in Data Modeling and Technical Design, including the use of Bulk API 2.0, PK Chunking, Parallel Processing, and efficient Apex design patterns for post-load processing.
Serve as a Trusted Advisor to Enterprise Architects at client, shaping the long-term data strategy, archival policies, and master data management (MDM) roadmaps.
Manage customer expectations by negotiating solutions for complex data conflicts, deduplication challenges, and third-party integration hurdles.
Establish "Best-in-Class" standards for the migration practice, promoting standardized toolsets and reusable transformation templates to accelerate project velocity.
Execute off-platform data moves, demonstrating the ability to architect migrations between non-Salesforce systems when required by the broader enterprise landscape.
Identify and mitigate technical risks proactively, such as data skew, parent-child locking issues, and performance bottlenecks during high-volume loads.
10+ years of experience in developing enterprise-level Salesforce based technology and data solutions.
3+ years of experience in client-facing leadership roles, specifically leading data-heavy digital transformations and systems integration projects.
Proven expertise in executing complex data migrations, having successfully led multiple end-to-end migration projects from legacy systems to Salesforce or vice-versa.
Deep understanding of high-volume data (LDV) strategies, including indexing, skinny tables, and efficient query design to support massive datasets.
Exceptional Communication Skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical data concepts to both executive leadership and technical developers.
