As a Lead Software Engineer, you will be responsible for a team in terms of people management interface between development team and various stakeholders, to remove impediments, setup and implement development standards.
You will be part of an enthusiast team delivering software for internal clients in Private Bank domain, focusing on coding or code review and technical planning meetings.
Responsibilities:
- Be a hands-on engineering lead involved in analysis, design, design/code reviews, coding and release activities;
- Champion engineering best practices and guide/mentor team to achieve high performance;
- Work closely with Business stakeholders, Tribe lead, Product Owner, Lead Architect to successfully deliver the business outcomes;
- Acquire functional knowledge of the business capability/need and translate that knowledge into technical solutions;
- Demonstrate ownership, inspire others, innovative thinking, growth mindset and collaborate for success;
- Focus on upskilling people, team building and career development;
- Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and developments.
Skills:
- 7+ years of professional experience in full stack software development, with a strong focus on NodeJS, Angular and Java-based systems;
- Expertise in NodeJS, Angular (with NX), Java 17+ and the Spring/Quarkus ecosystem, microservices architecture, docker containers, Kubernetes;
- Good understanding of design patterns, awareness/understanding of SOLID principles;
- Knowledge of Data structures/Collections;
- Proven experience designing and building scalable frontend solutions
- Proven experience designing and building scalable backend solutions and RESTful APIs;
- Strong experience with relational databases, including advanced SQL, schema design, and performance tuning;
- Good understating microservices architecture and distributed systems;
- Hands-on experience developing and deploying applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or other major cloud providers;
- Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, pipelines;
- Knowledge and experience with Agile values, principles, and methods;
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and a strong team player mindset;
- Ability to work effectively in a global, multi-cultural environment with teams located in different zones;
- Voracious learner. You’re quick to share tips and tools you’ve picked up and you’re open to learning new things from your co-workers.
