We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Engineer specializing in Microsoft Teams Phone. The ideal candidate will help customers empower their employees, maximize employee productivity and drive success and seamless operation of Microsoft Teams Phone to our customers. This role is customer-facing and requires excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with technical, non-technical and leadership contacts at customers.
Required skills:
Hard skills
  • In-depth expertise in Teams Telephony architecture, configuration, and operations
  • Proven experience with global telecom services, including number management, regulatory compliance and other country-specific requirements, across ~160 countries
  • Strong knowledge of legacy and modern network and security technologies, aligned with Microsoft best practices and tailored to customer requirements and legal compliance across ~160 countries, to help driving the global network Architecture.
  • Several years’ experience designing and deploying complex global environments with elevated security requirements (government)
  • Experienced in migrating Skype for Business (including UCMA) to Teams in complex, secure, primarily on premises/hybrid environments
  • Good understanding of business and fulfillment (IMAC) processes to define system specifications for a multi-organization service provisioning system
  • Skilled in producing system architecture specifications, migration/operations concepts, and other formal documentation, following architectural frameworks such as TOGAF and HERMES
Soft skills
  • Experienced in managing and presenting multiple stakeholders and partners, from field service up to C-level
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage difficult stakeholder and project members.
  • Available to work on-site (Bern) at least 1 day per week, occasionally up to 3 days a week.
  • Eligible for Swiss government security clearance
