About the role

We are currently looking for a Team Leader  in our Nyon office, a key member of the Liquids Packaging team.

Reporting to the Liquids Packaging Manager, as Team Leader,  you will be responsible to develop and lead a team of operators to consistently deliver outstanding safety, quality, service, and value. This role is crucial in ensuring that the business strategy is executed through an engaged, motivated, and capable team. The role will ensure that our site maintains the highest standards in Environment, Health, Safety, and Wellness (EHSW) and Quality while achieving production objectives

Responsibilities

Compliance & Process Management

  • You ensure full compliance with EHS, cGMP, and Quality standards.
  • You conduct safety and quality investigations when required.
  • You lead by example by strictly following all company policies and procedures.
  • You define, establish, and confirm operational standards using the 4M’s: Material, Manpower, Method, and Measurement.
  • You use Haleon systems (SAP, Pas‑X, CH Pack, Workday) for batch reconciliation, cycle counting, material movements, confirmations, and inventory management.

Leadership

  • You provide full leadership to a team of operators in a fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG) production environment.
  • You ensure your team consistently meets safety, quality, compliance, and output expectations.
  • You lead and execute improvement projects, managing scope, schedule, and cost, while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Performance Management

  • You apply structured problem‑solving and performance‑management tools.
  • You drive real‑time issue identification, root‑cause analysis, and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Talent Development

  • You identify high‑potential team members and actively support their development.
  • You set clear performance expectations and provide regular, constructive feedback.
  • You ensure development plans are implemented and tracked.

Resource & Budget Management

  • You manage task allocation, staffing levels, and recruitment of operators.
  • You make sure production resources meet operational needs and that continuity is maintained during shift changes and breaks.
  • You understand and manage the Manufacturing budget, ensuring efficient and cost‑effective operations.

Your profile

  • You have 3–5 years of experience in a leadership role within a manufacturing or packaging environment, preferably in a regulated industry such as pharmaceuticals or FMCG.
  • You are proficient with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • You understand and can apply Root Cause Analysis methods.
  • You can lead teams through change and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • You are able to perform physical activities such as bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods. You are available to work during unusual hours, shifts, and schedules when needed.
