As our Team Lead, Patient Access, you will ensure that a high level of superior customer service is delivered and maintained in the patient registration area of multiple facilities or locations. This position assists with managing all the necessary resources to meet production standards and ensures high-quality customer service is provided within the departments.
To thrive in this role, you must have some insurance background or knowledge. Must enjoy a fast-paced environment and interacting with patients. Data entry skills are very important in this role, while auditing and making corrections in the system.
This is a Night Shift ED Team Lead job position. 7pm-7am rotating days

Here’s what you will experience working as a Team Lead, Patient Access:
Provides superior customer service to all patients, works through patient-raised issues, and recommends appropriate solutions.
Work with Team Members to ensure the success and development of other Team Members.
Ensure that the team meets production standards, deadlines, and work schedules by paying close attention work trends and identifying and reporting area needs to Patient Access Manager and/or Facility Lead.
Ensure proper workflow procedures are followed by the entire Team.
Maintain an extremely high level of confidentiality with regards to any discussion held at management and above level.
Ensure effectiveness of quality assurance program.
Flexibility to work in multiple areas and maintain efficiency, depending on the business need. Reliable transportation is needed to move between locations and facilities.
Efficient and effective utilization of all available departmental resources, whether human, physical, or technological.
Complete daily worklists and reports from registration and billing systems.
Participates in the selection, training, and development of patient access representative staff.
Sound decision-making regarding prioritization of tasks for the most efficient and effective use of time and equipment to accomplish production and metric goals.
