POSITION OVERVIEW

The Large Strategic Enterprise Sales Leader – West will spearhead the Strategic sales charter for the region, owning strategy, execution, and team leadership to drive sustainable revenue growth. This role is accountable for building a high-performing sales organization, shaping regional go-to-market plans, strengthening executive-level customer relationships, and maximizing Trend Micro’s market penetration and profitability. The leader will collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders—including India BU leadership, operations, channel, and marketing—to accelerate strategic business outcomes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and develop a high-impact Strategic sales team with a strong performance culture.
  • Lead and develop a high-impact strategic sales team, fostering a strong performance-driven culture
  • Drive the regional sales strategy and execution, including market intelligence, territory planning, and identification of new business opportunities.
  • Own pipeline generation and governance to ensure accurate forecasting and achievement of quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Strengthen alignment with Trend Micro India BU leadership to ensure seamless execution of national priorities at the regional level.
  • Partner with operations on pricing strategy, deal approvals, and governance to deliver competitive and profitable outcomes.
  • Influence channel and marketing initiatives to accelerate large strategic enterprise acquisition and deepen partner engagement.
  • Build and maintain strategic C-suite relationships within key BFSI and large enterprise accounts, serving as the internal advocate for customer needs.
  • Provide actionable market and customer insights to product management, support, and global teams to inform roadmap direction.
  • Enable regional sellers and partners through structured sales enablement, training, and capability-building programs.
  • Monitor sales performance rigorously, analyzing trends and identifying improvement levers to drive continuous growth.
  • Present executive-ready sales insights, forecasts, and performance reviews to senior leadership on a regular basis.

EXPERIENCE

  • 18+ years of progressive experience in strategic account management or field sales leadership within Information Technology or Cybersecurity; OEM experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in building and scaling high-performing strategic sales teams, especially across BFSI and large enterprise/conglomerate segments.
  • Proven ability to engage, influence, and build trust with C-suite stakeholders, driving complex, strategic, multi-million-dollar opportunities.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity, networking, and IT solutions, with solid knowledge of competitive landscapes and partner ecosystems.
  • Consistent track record of exceeding revenue goals, managing large strategic accounts, and executing advanced enterprise selling motions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, or Management; advanced qualifications preferred.
