Position Summary:
This requisition is for one (1) position, at 45 hours for the term, in the Department of Integrated Studies in Education for Summer 2026.
Course dates are July 2, 2025 to July 16, 2026.
Effective dates of appointment are June 22, 2025 to July 31, 2026.
Responsibilities may include:
Marking and Grading
Preparing Course Materials
Assisting Students' learning
Leading discussions.
Project Supervision
Provide feedback to students on presentations and/or course work.
Exam assistance
Email communications, online course management, and other contact hours
Attending classes (MTWR, 09:05 am - 12:55 pm)
Qualifications:
A PhD or Master’s degree related to the course/faculty, and currently enrolled at McGill.
Knowledge and experience of course content.
As per the AGSEM collective agreement 2.11, A teaching assistant is a Graduate student at the Master’s or Doctoral level employed to assist a Course Supervisor as a Teaching Assistant or Demonstrator.
