As a Tax Compliance Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping the organization's financial strategy by ensuring our tax obligations are met accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with all regulatory requirements.

You will act as a trusted advisor on tax compliance matters, guiding the business to operate in a cost‑effective and compliant manner while supporting its broader strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the Australian tax consolidated return in Onesource software,  this includes  gathering, reviewing, and analysing general ledger data and company assets.

  • Assist in the preparation of Local File Part A & B and transfer pricing documentation requirements.

  • Manage the company’s Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) compliance, including annual return preparation. Implement  process improvements relating to employee benefits.

  • Review and reconcile  withholding tax (WHT) obligations, ensuring correct withholding, reporting, and remittance to the ATO. Obtain appropriate withholding tax certificates and submit annual returns to the ATO.

  • Accurately prepare quarterly current and deferred tax provisions for OneStream and Longview statutory reporting.

  • Review and complete Business Activity Statements (BAS), conduct regular review of  GST transactions and tax codes  within SAP. Update procedures to strengthen compliance and efficiency.

  • Perform general ledger tax reconciliations for Australia & APAC.

  • Ensure monthly tax payments to the ATO for GST, WHT & IAS are paid on time.

  • Maintain the tax compliance calendar, perform periodic tax risk and compliance reviews, provide tax advisory support to business stakeholders, and contribute to tax-related projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Monitor, interpret, and apply changes in Australian tax legislation and relevant regulatory guidance.

To be successful in this role, you will have:
• Tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance, or a similar field. 
• Possess CA, CPA or equivalent 
• Five or more years of experience in corporate taxation.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to collaborate with all company sections and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in reading, analysing, and interpreting income tax legislation; effective communication and presentation skills.
• knowledge of SAP and Onesource corporate tax software is highly desirable
• Commitment to compliance with tax laws and proactive attitude towards Environment, Health & Safety.
