Talent Support Officer

We are seeking an accomplished and dynamic Talent Support Officer to join our team in [Mauritius]. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting the training activities and the recruitment actions of the department, in compliance with the internal policy, contributing to our ongoing success and strategic goals. As part of the [Talent Acquisition team], you will support the administration, good running and success of the commercial actions of SRMTC, training & development plan of Brink’s and ensure the refund of training and employment schemes contributing to the revenue of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Initiatives
Escalate any issues or difficulties encountering with external parties to the management within a reasonable time frame so as not to disrupt the activities of the department
Follow-up and inform the management of any change in the legislation, regulation or any other procedures which concern training and employment schemes
Support the commercial activities of the training centre SRMTC by preparing the required documents – training proposal, agreement, certificates, invoices, HRDC pack, etc.
Participate in the preparation of the annual training plan
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
Be the contact person and establish good and close working relationship with the external parties relating to training such as the MQA, HRDC, Business Mauritius, etc.
Assist trainers in the preparation of documents required for training registration with MQA
Assist SRMTC clients through the HRDC levy procedures and for the training organization with trainers
Performance Metrics & Accountability
Prepare the relevant reporting as per the Brink’s standard and as required by the management whether monthly or ad hoc
Ensure refund of training and employment schemes is done monthly within the prescribed timeframe
Ensure that the training planned by trainers are registered for the training Levy
Register training and follow-up with the MQA in accordance to the procedures established.
Prepare training certificates for all participants to be filled in the employee file and a record kept in e-filing
Invoice training for SRMTC on a weekly basis
Continuous Improvement & Innovation
• Follow the agenda and schedule of trainings and trainers
• Seek external training providers to support the internal need of Brink’s employees
• Assist auditors when required in matters relating to SRMTC
Preferred Qualifications:
Degree in Human Resources Management/Management or HSC with relevant experience
At least 2 years of experience in Human Resources or equivalent experiences
Proven experience in administration
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools – Intermediate level in Excel preferred
Good knowledge and hands-on experience in training administration and HRDC procedures
