Overview
The Talent Sourcing Specialist develops and executes proactive sourcing strategies to attract top talent across Riverside Health. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition, this role partners with recruiters to identify workforce needs, build targeted sourcing plans, and engage qualified passive and active candidates through social media, professional networks, niche job boards, and professional partnerships. The position maintains strong candidate pipelines for key roles, supports employer brand initiatives, and represents Riverside at recruitment events to strengthen awareness and ensure a positive candidate experience.

What you will do

  • Candidate Engagement & Pipeline Development - Builds and maintains pipelines of qualified passive and active candidates using Workday's Candidate Engagement function to support immediate and future staffing needs. Conducts research, outreach, and preliminary candidate assessments to ensure a consistent flow of talent for priority roles.
  • Sourcing Strategy & Workforce Alignment - Develops and executes proactive sourcing strategies aligned with system-wide workforce priorities. Partners with recruiters and the Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition to identify key hiring needs and create targeted sourcing plans for critical and hard-to-fill roles. Leverages available technologies to maximize recruiting/sourcing efforts. Participates in job fairs, career days and visits Riverside facilities on a regular basis. Creates applicant pools for hard to fill positions. Performs analysis of sourcing methods to identify and lead initiatives that drive hiring effectiveness.
  • Collaboration & Partnership - Works closely with the Talent Acquisition team and hiring managers to develop outreach messaging that reflects Riverside's employer brand and employee value proposition. Follows up on a regular basis with Recruiters, Hiring Managers and candidates to ensure timeliness and responsiveness throughout the engagement and recruitment process.
  • Market Intelligence & Channel Optimization - Leverages labor market data, competitor insights, and emerging recruitment trends to identify and engage talent through diverse channels, including social media, niche job boards, professional associations, and community networks. Evaluates sourcing channel effectiveness and recommends improvements to strengthen Riverside's attraction strategy.
  • Data Analytics & Continuous Improvement - Tracks sourcing activity, campaign results, and conversion metrics to measure effectiveness and ROI. Uses insights to refine sourcing strategies, improve candidate engagement, and enhance overall recruitment performance.
  • Responsible for recruitment of difficult/hard-to-fill roles as deemed necessary


Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelors Degree, Business/Human Resources or related (Required)


Experience

  • 5-6 years full cycle recruitment experience (Required)
  • 2 years recruitment sourcing experience (Preferred)


Licenses and Certifications

  • Professional in Human Resource (PHR) - Human Resources Certification Institute (Preferred) or
  • Certified Internet Recruiter (CIR) - Association of International Recruiters (AIRS) or equivalent within 1 Year(Required) and
