The Public Transport Trainer is responsible for the Knowledge Base content, including development and maintenance of accurate and detailed content within the platform and supporting materials whilst adhering to the governance framework. The Knowledge Base Administrator and Trainer is also responsible for the delivery of training, from onboarding new agents to coaching and refresher training on an ongoing basis. This role is also responsible to ensure the team are compliant to all processes and procedures both internally and as set by the client managed through Quality Assurance assessments of all agents.

  • Commencing 2nd February 2026

  • Full Time Secondment to July 2026

  • Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm 

  • Hybrid | Latrobe Street

Responsibilities include:

  • Knowledge Base Management: Designing, developing, and maintaining accurate, compliant Knowledge Base content.

  • Training and Development: Facilitating various training sessions (new hire, upskill, refresher), creating and updating training content, identifying training gaps, ensuring rapid trainee competency, coordinating resources, and managing administrative tasks (e.g., training registers).

  • Quality and Compliance: Conducting Quality assessments for agents, providing performance feedback, reporting trends and opportunities to management, and working with leadership to address identified training needs.

Skills & Experience:

  • Facilitation skills and ability to engage learners

  • Passion about IT applications, processes, software, and equipment.

  • Ability to manage workload and ensure quality of service while working under pressure and to deadlines

  • Problem solving, negotiation and conflict resolution skills

  • High level oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to work autonomously, employ initiative to find solutions, prioritise and exercise discretion
