Reporting to the Talent Director, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will lead full-cycle recruitment across a high-volume, fast-paced environment. This role is responsible for building strong talent pipelines, partnering closely with hiring managers, and delivering an exceptional candidate experience while supporting employer branding and recruitment process improvements.
This position requires a proactive, relationship-driven recruiter who can operate as a trusted advisor to the business and effectively manage multiple priorities.
Hybrid: 3 days On-site
Location: Burlington, ON or Calgary, AB

What You Will Do
Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage all stages of the hiring process, from screening applicants and identifying suitable candidates to scheduling and conducting interviews.
Sourcing & Talent Pipelining: Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop and implement effective recruitment and sourcing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates.
Job Postings & Employer Branding: Create compelling job advertisements, post them to relevant job boards, and enhance company branding on platforms like LinkedIn, Indeed, and Glassdoor for recruitment purposes.
Candidate Management: Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the process, conduct reference checks, and coordinate background checks for new hires.
HR Planning, Projects, & Collaboration: Participate in weekly planning meetings, work closely with hiring managers, track recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, source of hire, etc.), support continuous improvement of recruitment processes and tools, identifying opportunities for efficiency and enhanced candidate experience
What You Will Bring
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
5 years experience in recruitment or talent acquisition within a fast-paced environment.
Experience utilizing Applicant Tracking Systems (Workday preferred).
Act as a brand ambassador by understanding our business and showcasing our culture when interacting with candidates.
You are seen by the business as the expert in assessing talent.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Strong verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency of MS suite of products (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

Base salary range: $75,000-$80,000 (total compensation range $75,000 to $84,000)
