Manage candidate development all levels of talent. Develop relationships with key industry players in person and via telephone to generate qualified candidates for multiple search assignments. Manage the candidate lifecycle including identifying, qualifying, interviewing and managing targeted candidates to rapidly produce a best-in-class slate of talent to meet / exceed M&T’s internal client expectations.
The role is responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with M&T management, employees and external applicants and community contacts.
College Degree or applicable progressive experience in recruiting may be considered in lieu of education.
Minimum two years total recruitment experience and/or relevant business line experience.
Strong sales ability, persuasion and negotiation skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and engagements simultaneously.
Ability to function in a high volume, fast-paced environment
Proactive approach and proven ability to remain diligent on searches.
Experience with identifying passive job seekers.
Sound experience showing fast response time, consistency and success.
Strong knowledge of personal computers and related software programs with internet experience.
Superior consultative skills and ability to influence decisions
Experience working for Human Resources within a corporate environment.
Demonstrated ability in cold calling, name generation and networking
Experience with Human Resources applicant tracking systems a plus.
Demonstrated recruitment success in acquiring niche talent
M&T Bank is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for our employees. The pay range for this position is $68,400.00 - $114,000.00 Annual (USD). The successful candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, and experience will inform their specific compensation.
