Your Role

As Talent Acquisition Partner / Senior Talent Acquisition Partner, you’ll own full-cycle recruiting for high-impact roles across Alpaca’s team, including but not limited to: brokerage, go-to-market, finance, strategy, and product. You’ll help us scale a global, remote-first organization building brokerage infrastructure and APIs. You’ll partner closely with functional leaders to translate business goals into hiring plans, run a rigorous and candidate-friendly process, and improve how we attract, assess, and close world-class talent in fintech.

Things You Get To Do:

  • Own end-to-end recruiting for senior and/or hard-to-fill roles across functions from intake through close.
  • Partner with hiring managers to build role scorecards, interview plans, and calibrated rubrics that reduce bias and increase signal.
  • Proactively source and engage talent using targeted outbound, referrals, talent communities, and creative pipelines—especially for specialized fintech and infrastructure profiles.
  • Lead effective hiring manager rhythms: weekly pipeline reviews, funnel health reporting, and action plans that keep hiring on track.
  • Deliver a high-touch candidate experience: clear expectations, fast feedback loops, thoughtful closing, and strong communication at every step.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on levelling, compensation ranges, closing strategy, and market dynamics (including remote/global hiring considerations).
  • Improve recruiting operations and tooling: ATS hygiene, interview training, structured debriefs, and process documentation that scales.
  • Use data to drive decisions—diagnose funnel issues, recommend changes, and communicate progress to stakeholders.
  • Strengthen Alpaca’s employer brand by shaping role narratives, partnering with marketing/leadership, and ensuring our messaging resonates with fintech candidates.

Who You Are (Must-Haves):

  • 6+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including senior-level hiring in fast-paced tech environments.
  • Demonstrated success hiring for technical roles (engineering/data/platform) and/or regulated fintech roles (risk, compliance, brokerage ops, tax, finance).
  • Strong sourcing capability: you’ve built pipelines from scratch and consistently deliver qualified slates for specialized roles.
  • Excellent stakeholder management: you can influence and coach busy leaders, run tight processes, and maintain high bar + speed.
  • Deep understanding of structured interviewing (scorecards, rubrics, calibration) and how to improve signal quality.
  • Candidate-first communicator with strong writing skills—you can craft compelling outreach and clear, honest process updates.
  • Data-literate: comfortable with funnel metrics, ATS reporting, and making recommendations based on what the numbers say.
  • Experience working in remote or distributed teams and collaborating across time zones.

Who You Might Be (Nice-to-Haves):

  • Experience recruiting in or for broker-dealers, exchanges, clearing/settlement, market data, risk/margin, or trading infrastructure companies.
  • Familiarity with global hiring dynamics (NA/EMEA/APAC/LATAM), including regional talent markets and compliance considerations.
  • Experience designing or scaling recruiting programs (interview training, DEI initiatives, referral programs, employer branding).
  • Prior ownership of headcount planning, workforce planning, or partnering closely with FP&A/People Ops on hiring forecasts.
  • Comfortable recruiting for both “build the rails” roles (platform/infra) and “run the machine” roles (operations/compliance) in the same org.
  • Experience with Greenhouse (or similar ATS) and building scalable recruiting workflows and dashboards.

How We Take Care of You:

  • Competitive Salary & Stock Options
  • Health Benefits
  • New Hire Home-Office Setup: One-time USD $500
  • Monthly Stipend: USD $150 per month via a Brex Card
