We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Consultant (12-month contract) to join our Global Talent Acquisition team in Hong Kong. In this strategic role, you will lead the full recruitment lifecycle across the APAC, Turkey, and Central Asia regions (excluding India), focusing on early career and mid-level positions across diverse business functions. You will serve as a key partner in driving talent acquisition initiatives and report directly to the Manager, Talent Acquisition based in Singapore.

How you will add value

  • Act as a trusted advisor and collaborative partnerships with hiring managers and relevant local HR teams on hiring needs

  • Proactively recruit, source, and hire qualified candidates in a multi-site environment.

  • Lead the interview, selection, and offer processes.

  • Ensure positive hiring manager and candidate experience and timely communication.

  • Gain a deep understanding of the industry and the business to help form a cohesive, actionable recruiting strategy.

  • Develop business acumen to understand strategic business priorities and immediate and future talent needs.

  • Proactively conduct research to create innovative sourcing strategies and candidate pipelines via various sourcing platforms.

  • Leverage market intelligence and data to advise on hiring strategy and decision.

  • Proactively offers innovative solutions to add value, anticipate needs, and streamline process

  • Ensure the selection process complies with company policies, local employment laws and regulations.

  • Build relationships with universities and initiatives, employer branding and community outreach focusing on graduates and interns.

  • Effectively manage vendor and agency partnerships when required.

  • Contribute to cross-functional HR and talent acquisition projects.

  • Support local HR duties when required

What will help you be successful in this role

Experience, Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • At least 4 years of full cycle recruiting experience (agency or in-house)

  • Experience in financial or professional services; asset management preferred

  • Knowledge of the Asia-Pacific market is a plus

  • Skilled in sourcing platforms like LinkedIn

Technical Skills

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

  • Detail-oriented and thorough

  • Excellent verbal and written communication; Mandarin is a plus

  • Creative problem-solving and adaptability

  • Familiarity with Workday is an advantage

Soft Skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders effectively

  • Collaborative team player, comfortable working across functions and levels of seniority

  • Highly proactive and capable of working independently
