The ideal candidate enjoys working in a multi-disciplinary, high-tech and international environment to tackle complex technical problems. We are driving security into the software development lifecycle and helping ensure the security of our products. This role requires a strong background in software security and DevOps practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical design reviews, architecture planning, and prototyping of modern cloud-native applications.
- Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot custom Ubuntu Linux distributions for Edge AI platforms, ensuring secure boot setups and OS hardening.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate security risks through penetration testing, threat modeling, and vulnerability patching on Linux-based systems.
- Ensure compliance with open-source licensing policies, track OSS updates, and integrate secure open-source software into commercial products.
- Develop and automate Linux system utilities, security scripts, and embedded tools using C, C++, Python, and C#, optimizing performance and security.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of security assessments, system hardening steps, and compliance processes while collaborating with cybersecurity teams.
- Benchmarking performance for Object Detection and Image Classification Algorithms on across various hardware accelerators, including NVIDIA Jetson
Technical Skills
- Proven understanding of Ubuntu Linux Distribution for Edge AI platforms
- Proficiency in programming / scripting languages such as Python, C++, or C#.
- Proficiency in the development and optimization of Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Expertise in Performance benchmarking across various hardware accelerators like NVIDIA JETSON.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and leadership skills.
- Experience in using AI / ML and use of new tooling to drive efficiency.
- Experience with project management methodologies (PMI, PMBOK, Agile).
Qualifications
- Bachelors / master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- 8-10+ years of experience as Systems Engineer and strong hands-on programming skill in C++.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Relevant certifications (e.g., 3, CEH, SANS) are a bonus.
