Systems Operations & Data Management Specialist

The Systems Operations & Data Management Specialist is responsible for the administration and optimization of local data systems and processes. The role ensures reliable system operations, high-quality data, and seamless integration between data workflows and business functions.

You will partner closely with IT, data analysts, and business stakeholders to improve data accuracy, accessibility, and system efficiency, and to provide reports and insights that support sales performance, incentive programs, and business decision-making.

What You Will Do:

1. System Operations

  • Ensure availability, integrity, and efficiency of commercial systems (e.g., sales platforms) and day-to-day data processing workflows.

  • Maintain documentation, workflows, and best practices to drive continuous improvement.

  • Communicate system updates and issues to relevant stakeholders and coordinate resolution with local and above-country teams.

  • Support system enhancements and deployments by:

    • Gathering and defining local business requirements

    • Leading and coordinating user acceptance testing (UAT)

  • Act as local system administrator (e.g., Company’s Access).

2. Data Management

  • Manage local sales data, ensuring completeness and accuracy of data from distributors and sub-distributors (including data processed in HHIE).

  • Oversee sales data processing for Ex-Company and In-Market reporting.

  • Manage sales and inventory data from relevant third-party partners (e.g., alliances, contracted sub-distributors).

  • Manage other market data (e.g., NSA) to support business needs.

  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve data-related issues and communicate impacts and resolutions to stakeholders.

  • Stay informed on regional data-related initiatives, risks, and opportunities, and proactively assess and mitigate local impact.

  • Ensure adherence to data privacy, security requirements, and internal data governance standards.

3. Reports & Analytics

  • Lead the processing and delivery of local reports and data input files (e.g., Axtria) to support annual and quarterly performance management (e.g., Kahusayan, SIP/QIP planning and implementation).

  • Develop and provide reports and analytics for:

    • Operational performance

    • Alliance monthly S&OP, business reviews, and forecasting (e.g., May/Nov FC, contract renewal)

    • Finance and CTC/KAM, including support for data input into Finance and CTC platforms (e.g., ACADs, CTS)

  • Deliver ad hoc reports and analyses to support data-driven decisions on go-to-market strategy, field force deployment, campaign execution, and other strategic initiatives (beyond those in scope of DDA).

4. Compliance Oversight on FPP and DXTP

  • Own data maintenance for the Financial Patient Program (FPP) and Diagnostic Test Program (DXTP).

  • Support the ASM with FPP reporting, analytics, and oversight.

  • Manage data sharing from third parties, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of FPP-related data.

  • Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and internal data matrix guidance for FPP-related data.

What You Must Have

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or related field.

  • With about 3 years of experience in data operations, systems management, or related roles (or at least 5 years of equivalent experience).

  • Strong knowledge of data processing tools, databases, and ETL pipelines.

  • Experience with system monitoring, performance optimization, and troubleshooting.

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and data governance frameworks.

  • Proficiency in SQL and/or other relevant programming languages.

  • Experience working with, and building, databases and dashboards to inform business decisions.

  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with high attention to detail.

  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills; able to explain technical topics to non-technical audiences.

  • Good project management capabilities and a strong service mindset when working with multiple stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated leadership capability and logical, structured thinking.

  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills in English and Filipino.
