Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a qualified and innovative Systems Engineer Modeling Simulation/Principal Systems Engineer Modeling Simulation – Integration to join the Model Based Test & Evaluation (MBTE) team. This role is pivotal in driving advancements in cutting-edge technology, and we are looking for a creative thinker who thrives in a dynamic environment. This position will be located in Melbourne, Florida.
Note: This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports. Due to the classified nature of the work being performed, this position does not offer any virtual or telecommute working options. This role can be filled at either level.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Supporting team to develop processes and techniques using engineering best practices and standards.
Assisting with collaboration across multiple groups, including Program Management, external suppliers, and government customers.
Supporting preparation and coordination of technical review boards, ensuring stakeholder engagement and approval.
Basic Qualifications for Systems Engineer Modeling Simulation:
Bachelor of Science degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline with 2 years of relevant experience; OR Master of Science degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline with 0 years of relevant experience.
Your ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated government Secret clearance (DoD must be in-scope or enrolled in Continuous Evaluation) and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the Company.
Basic Qualifications for Principal Systems Engineer Modeling Simulation:
Bachelor of Science degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline with 5 years of relevant experience; OR Master of Science degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline with 3 years of relevant experience; OR Ph.D. in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline with 1 year of relevant experience.
Your ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated government Secret clearance (DoD must be in-scope or enrolled in Continuous Evaluation) and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the Company.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with MATLAB, Python, and Microsoft Office.
Familiarity with Atlassian tools and Agile software development.
Cameo knowledge.
Active Top-Secret clearance.

Primary Level Salary Range: $77,200.00 - $115,800.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $95,300.00 - $142,900.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
