Create and revise customer-facing technical documentation for engine maintenance and overhaul, adhering to industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather technical information and specifications for P&WC products' maintenance and overhaul manuals.
- Translate complex technical information into clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation for various audiences.
- Create and include technical illustrations, diagrams, and schematics to improve understanding of maintenance and overhaul procedures.
- Ensure all documentation meets regulatory requirements, company guidelines, and safety standards.
- Conduct usability testing and collect feedback from end-users to improve the quality and effectiveness of P&WC’s manuals.
- Manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain high accuracy standards.
Required Job Qualifications:
- College degree in design and drafting or, AME certification.
- Must be able to obtain CGD clearance in Canada.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Sound gas turbine engine knowledge.
- Solid computer skills (MS Suite and 3D/2D CAD software).
- Familiarity with SGML or XML writing is a plus.
