You’ll lead adoption of MBSE practices for their IPT/on their technical segment of a large-scale, very complex system.
You will:
Use MBSE to perform logical and systematic instantiation of Segment architecture requirements and decomposition (functional, logical, physical) into a total system definition
Generate Segment models that establish linkages and traceability across requirements and verification artifacts.
Develop and manage integration between MBSE environments and other SE tools and data sources to maintain Segment models.
Ensure that MBSE Segment models are compliant with standards and the system architecture development plan
Act as the focal point for Segment MBSE model configuration management
Integrate with other modeling teams/environments (other IPTs/Segments, Partners, and Customers) external to the Segment MBSE environment
Mentor junior system engineer team members to enhance MBSE tools skills
Collaborate and support cross-functionally to establish the Segment architecture and CONOPS, perform trade studies and analysis, flow-down the architecture and CONOPS into requirements and interfaces, and support verification planning
