Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Systems Engineer to join our team at Airbus Defence and Space SAU. This role will focus on the development, integration, and verification of Multi-Function Control and Display (MFCD) systems for advanced aerospace platforms, ensuring their optimal performance and reliability.

Job Responsibilities
* Define and analyze system requirements for MFCD components, including hardware, software, and interfaces, based on operational needs and safety standards.
* Develop detailed system architectures, designs, and specifications for MFCD solutions, considering performance, size, weight, power, and cost constraints.
* Support the integration of MFCD systems with other aircraft avionics and mission systems, ensuring communication and data exchange.
* Design and execute comprehensive verification and validation plans for MFCD systems, including test case development, execution, and defect management.
* Analyze test results, identify discrepancies, and collaborate with hardware and software development teams to resolve issues.
* Contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, including system specifications, design descriptions, test procedures, and reports.
* Participate in formal reviews and audits, presenting technical information and addressing feedback from internal and external stakeholders.
* Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in display systems and human-machine interface (HMI) design.
* Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including project managers, software engineers, hardware engineers, and flight test personnel.

Job Qualifications
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
* Proven experience (3+ years) in systems engineering within the aerospace or defense industry, with a focus on display or control systems.
* Strong understanding display concepts, technologies, and architectures.
* Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS).
* Proven experience in SCADE
* Strong understanding of industry standards and regulations relevant to aerospace systems (DO-178C, DO-254, ARP4754A, DO-160, MIL-STD 810).
* Knowledge of HMI principles and display technologies is highly desirable.
* Experience with system integration, testing, and troubleshooting.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly.Proficiency in English is required.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
* Experience with PTS definition, equipment qualification and supplier management is essential.
* Experience in equipment interfaces, mainly RS422, Arinc 429, MIL-STD-1553, Ethernet and SDI
* Eligibility to obtain relevant security clearance is required.
