L.L.Bean is looking for an Systems Analyst I to join our ECommerce Team.

We welcome the opportunity for this role to be hybrid based at the corporate headquarters in Freeport, Maine, or to be based remotely in the following states: Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, South Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, Wisconsin.

Position Purpose: Designs and implements complex computer application solutions to meet business informational needs and requirements in the Ecommerce domain. Provide technical leadership in broad, complex, high visibility and/or high impact projects. Evaluates and analyzes requirements to develop technical solutions to business problems within industry standard business process and best practices. Responsible for the design, development, testing, and documentation of applications based on technical configurations and specifications. Supports and troubleshoots existing applications.

Responsibilities:

• Emphasis on design. Applies technical expertise in a complex GCP native multi-component environment.
• Works independently and collaboratively with team; provides regular updates to leader.
• Responsible for design and specifications (High Level and Micro), configuration/development, integration, testing, debugging, implementation and documentation for complex solutions.
• Coordinates integration activities between multiple technical teams.
• Can project the impact of technical changes (configured or developed) to the business process and people.
• Works with business area customers and vendors to identify business requirements, scope, feasibility, performance, security, test strategies, and test execution.
• Develops complex integration requirements and partners with the integration developer to implement.
• Can perform unit, system, integration and user acceptance testing. Document results.
• Applies formal methodologies when designing and implementing solutions, including the usage of software design patterns.
• Manage any technical issues that arise during development/configuration, testing and implementation.
• Coordinate environment set-up (including: code releases, data loads, asset load, etc)
• Participates in project planning and development and assumes responsibility for project scope including guidance of others. Provides options for and estimates of possible solutions
• Estimates and tracks time required to complete work, for project budgeting and financial tracking.
• Participates in or may lead the selection, implementation and integration of packaged software.
• Exerts technical leadership within team and provides technical leadership on complex projects and baseline support.
• May have duties instructing, directing and validating the work of other technical teams.
• Participates in the identification & development of new shop standards consistent with L. L. Bean's Enterprise Referential Architecture.
• Conducts and participates in reviews of solution designs, configurations and code.
• Partners with technical and business team members to maintain system documentation, knowledge base and frequently asked questions.
• Stays current on industry trends and software roadmaps to feed L.L. Bean planning.
• Acts as technical liaison to software vendors.
• Partners with the business on effective end user adoption and use of system / function.
• Reviews training strategy, materials and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Partners with technical partners to ensure Service Levels are met.
• Responsible for 24x7 research and resolution of production system problems.
• On call – provides day time and after hours on call support.
• Ensures designs and solutions take performance into consideration.
• Ensures the team adheres to security standards in support of PCI compliance.
• Ensures the team adheres to development standards and best coding practices.
• Participates in the recruitment of team members, both employees and contractors.
• Builds trusted relationships and regularly provides mentorship to technicians at all levels.
• Sought after resource by project teams and IS teams.

• Significant Systems Analysis and Design, Program Analysis and Design, Problem solving skills, and Development/Configuration skills.
• Considered an expert at configuring multiple COTS software packages.
• Strong understanding of data flows, integration points and source system data.

System Integration Skills: Installation, deployment, customization and integration.

• Familiar and/or experienced in JavaScript/TypeScript, NodeJS, Caching solutions, REST API, Visual Studio Code, GCP, Grafana, Splunk, Harness, GitHub, Jira, Confluence
• Experienced with Testing at all levels (unit, integration, system, performance), Testing tools (including automated Testing) and Debugging Tools
• Familiar with Agile Systems Development Life Cycles and Methodologies
• Requires significant knowledge of L. L. Bean information systems and application technology foundations beyond functional domain.
• Significant understanding of suite of COTS software packages and/or technologies to add value to business adoption / utilization.
• Possesses expert level functional knowledge of businesses supported and knowledge beyond functional domain.
