Role Purpose:

To administer and optimize enterprise infrastructure, virtualization platforms, and operating environments by ensuring stable, secure, and high-performing systems that support business continuity and service delivery

Are you someone who can:

• Maintain availability of VMware vSphere environments
• Monitor and optimise system performance and utilisation to prevent service degradation
• Maintain stable and compliant Windows and Linux environments
• Execute patching and resolve OS incidents within SLA
• Achieve defined backup success rates
• Validate recoverability through regular restore and DR testing
• Remediate vulnerabilities within defined timelines
• Ensure timely application of security patches and audit closure
• Ensure monitoring coverage of all critical systems
• Resolve incidents proactively to prevent SLA breaches
• Maintain availability of Container Platforms
• Resolve platform and application issues within SLA
• Ensure optimal ITSM logging and tracking
• Maintain complete and audit-ready documentation
• Deliver L2/3 support within SLA
• Provide standby coverage and stakeholder support

You will be an ideal candidate if you:  

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology

• Preferred:

• VMware Certified Professional (e.g., VCP-DCV)
• Certifications in Microsoft Windows Server
•  RHCSA Certification added advantage
• VMware certifications
• Have 3 – 5 years’ experience in systems administration

Core Competencies

• Proven experience in VMware vSphere environments
• Experience with Windows Server and Linux administration
• Exposure to backup, monitoring, and security tools
• Experience supporting container platforms such as (Kubernetes, rancher, OpenShift)
• Linux Knowledge and Experience will be a huge Advantage
