System Integration Lead, Workstations

Description -

Responsiblities

  • Accountable for overseeing the System Integration Test (SIT) function on HP workstation projects.

  • Early engage with project stakeholders to understand the integration requirements and testing objectives.  

  • Develop a comprehensive integration test plan that outlines the testing strategy which is delivered to ODM as SIT requirements.  

  • Ensure counterparts (ODMs) execute tests according to the test progress, plans, document test results, track issues.  

  • Support system integration test. 

  • Build debug unit and duplicate issue based on information logged on bug tracking system and update the issue status. 

  • Characterize / troubleshoot issues.

  • Estimate design change or requests to evaluate lead time and readiness for schedule to adjust corresponding testing plans.  

  • Provide regular status updates onto project dashboard, including test progress, issues encountered, and any risks identified.  

  • Precisely report issues with pass/failed results and test configurations. 

  • Manage Lab materials and maintain automation tool for bug list report. 

  • Commit and highlight risks at program key milestones. 

  • Core validation and SCIT-HW test plans and results, execution reports, phase and product commitments, demand of IUR and testing materials.



Education & Experience Recommended

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.

  • Typically has 7+ years of work experience in system integration validation is a must

  • Familiar with PC/NB/Workstations electrical design, tools, and architecture of electronic hardware is a must

  • AMD platform experience is highly preferred.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language. Ability to effectively communicate testing plans, proposals, and results, and negotiate options at management levels.

  • Be able to self-initiative and drive complex validation process change that transform the way and exceed future of work need.

  • Proven track record to use data to influence executive on decision making.

  • Support validation management team on cross org strategic program that lead to cost optimization and process efficiency.
