System Engineer - Matlab & C/C++ (Data Analysis & Production Support)

In our R&D (Research & Development) Center in Prague we develop Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) for intelligent cars.

We are looking for a System Engineer with strong programming skills in Matlab and C/C++ to support our End-of-Line (EoL) production process for our Radar sensor in the R&D Center in Prague.
This role sits between software engineering and system/data analysis. You will receive data sets directly from production lines, create or adapt software tools to evaluate sensor performance, and support the team responsible for deploying EoL processes.

This position is suitable also for fresh graduates with solid programming foundations.

YOUR CHALLENGES?

Programming & Tool Development (80–90%)

  • Develop scripts and software tools in Matlab and C/C++

  • Modify, reuse, or create new programs for data analysis and production support

  • Create standalone C/C++ applications (ability to compile to executable)

  • Adjust and improve existing internal SW tools used in EoL processes
     

Data Analysis

  • Analyze data sets from production lines and perform basic statistical evaluations

  • Identify anomalies, trends, and potential sensor defects based on data

  • Validate whether sensors produced on the line meet expected performance parameters
     

Production Support

  • Collaborate closely with the team deploying End-of-Line systems

  • Support manufacturing in Rakovník by ensuring tools and scripts run reliably in the production environment

  • Provide feedback based on data analysis to improve sensor testing processes

  • Understand overall sensor functionality enough to reason about test results (technical common sense)
     

LET'S TALK ABOUT YOU...

  • Strong programming skills in C and C++ (ability to write standalone programs)

  • Very good knowledge of Matlab (scripting, data analysis, tool creation)

  • Ability to process, clean, and interpret data sets

  • Basic knowledge of statistics for data evaluation

  • Technical background (electronics, IT, mechatronics, applied sciences, similar)

  • Proactive mindset and ability to work independently as well as in a team

  • Experience with radar or sensor systems (not mandatory)

  • Understanding of production or manufacturing processes

  • Experience with software tools used in data processing is an advantage

  • Any exposure to embedded systems or hardware (only minimal theoretical understanding needed)
