System Architect Lead Analyst

Responsibilities (Focus on Outcomes & Strategic Contributions)

  • Lead and deliver advanced technical strategy and architecture projects, ensuring solutions align with business objectives and user needs.
  • Evaluate and test potential IT architecture solutions, using independent judgment to select and adapt both standard and complex techniques.
  • Design and produce moderately complex IT architecture models and standards documents.
  • Research and anticipate future industry trends to keep our organization at the forefront of technology.
  • Guide and support junior professionals, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
  • Meet with end users to understand and translate requirements into effective solutions.
  • Make critical decisions impacting throughput analysis, problem-solving, and infrastructure planning.
  • Build and maintain high levels of user trust and confidence in IT’s ability to deliver value.
  • Lead diverse stakeholders and resources to deliver high-quality, on-time, and on-budget solutions.

Qualifications

Required

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a related IT architecture or system support role.
  • Proven experience with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
  • Experience with claims processing engines (e.g., VBA or similar).
  • Proficiency in SQL Server databases and Transact-SQL.
  • Working knowledge of at least one programming language (e.g., VB.net, C#.net).
  • Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • High level of interpersonal skills and professionalism.
  • Ability to work autonomously, adapt to changing priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Commitment to privacy, confidentiality, and high ethical standards.

Preferred

  • College degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Experience with VBA claims processing engine.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Windows, and Outlook.
  • Experience operating typical office equipment and understanding general office procedures.
