POSITION OVERVIEW
The Sustainability Services business delivers advisory; certification; technical engineering, compliance and voluntary reporting; and asset optimization services for Cushman & Wakefield’s clients.

A Sustainability Reporting Analyst position is now available in Cushman & Wakefield’s Sustainability team. As an Analyst you will undertake tasks to supprt the delivery of a range of Sustainability Reporting services. You will be performing an Operational / Service Delivery role on an account, responsible for supporting our client’s sustainability programs and helping our clients achieve their ambitious environmental, social, and governance (ESG) goals. In this role, you will work directly with senior energy and/or sustainability professionals by providing building benchmarking, collecting and analyzing energy data, supporting sustainability reports, and identifying opportunities to improve sustainability performance. including the provision of effective and high-quality delivery of reporting services to clients.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Undertake tasks to support the delivery of a range of Sustainability Reporting services.
- Support the delivery of best practice client environmental performance reports (e.g. carbon footprint, energy consumption, waste generation and recycling performance) to support our client’s legal and voluntary reporting obligations.
- Source and update all reporting system energy usage, sustainability and cost data (relating, but not limited to energy, emissions, water, waste) from buildings, including rates and tariffs on a timely basis, including from 3rd parties.
- Reviewing data for accuracy and completeness, and ensuring 100% data completeness across all sustainability metrics.
- Validation and correction of sustainability data (via exception reports) and trends to provide intelligence to the account team
- Provide analytical support to the Sustainability Team as required.
- Maintain all key administrative documentation.
- Proactively review workplace systems / processes to innovate and continuously improve the customer journey and workplace experience
- Development of operational standards / playbooks / operating manuals for all aspects of the client workplace
- Provide support, troubleshooting, and development of enhancements to existing tools.
- Work as an integrated, informed, effective and positive member of our team in relation to but not limited to safety, culture, administrative policies and procedures, systems of work, delivery, knowledge building, learning and development.

- Time management skills to prioritise tasks and ensure projects are completed in line with the project plan.

- Ability to develop and maintain strong internal and external relationships.
- Knowledge of relevant sustainability disclosures and understanding of the Greenhouse Gas Protocols is desirable.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in sustainability‑related, environmental science or data science fields with 2+ years of analytical experience in ESG, sustainability, consulting, or commercial real estate.
- Sustainability & Real Estate Expertise: Broad understanding of sustainable real estate operations, including utilities management, audits, conservation measures, energy modeling, and global sustainability trends.
- Technical & Data Proficiency: Experience managing sustainability data systems; strong Excel and PowerBI skills; ability to analyze, visualize, and report complex sustainability data accurately.
- Building & Systems Knowledge: Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and building automation systems, as well as construction documents and operational policies.
- Professional & Client Skills: Strong analytical thinking, project management, research capability, communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work independently in a global environment and a passion for client service.
- Australian citizenship is required due to the sensitive nature of data for our Australian government clients.
