Join Maxis as a Sustainability & Circularity Analyst Intern, where you will gain hands-on experience supporting sustainability initiatives within Enterprise Business Operations. This role offers exposure to ESG reporting, circular economy practices, and environmental compliance, while working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive impactful and responsible business operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. CPE Circularity Framework Support
Assist in developing and operationalising the Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) circularity framework, including installation, tracking, reuse, refurbishment, and disposal processes.
Support initiatives to improve asset lifecycle management and reduce environmental impact.
2. ESG Reporting & Compliance
Support waste tracking, reporting, and environmental compliance activities aligned with IFRS S1 & S2 standards.
Assist in preparing data and documentation for ESG reporting and sustainability disclosures.
3. Stakeholder Coordination
Coordinate sustainability-related initiatives with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Support communication and follow-ups to ensure smooth execution of sustainability programmes.
4. Data Analysis & Performance Tracking
Analyse sustainability and operational data to support ESG performance tracking and reporting.
Identify trends and insights to enhance reporting accuracy and decision-making.
5. Sustainability Initiatives Support
Assist in identifying opportunities to improve asset efficiency, reduce waste, and strengthen circular economy practices.
Support the implementation of sustainability initiatives across business operations.
Value-Add Project
Depending on performance and capability, the intern may have the opportunity to contribute to strategic sustainability initiatives, such as enhancing circularity frameworks, improving ESG reporting processes, or supporting new environmental impact reduction programmes.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications
Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field
Basic understanding of ESG principles, sustainability frameworks, or circular economy concepts
Strong analytical and reporting skills
Good stakeholder coordination and communication abilities
Strong interest in sustainability and environmental impact initiatives
Good to Have
Familiarity with ESG reporting standards such as IFRS S1 & S2
Experience with data analysis tools (e.g. Excel, Power BI)
Exposure to sustainability reporting, compliance, or environmental initiatives

Internship Duration
Starting June onwards, preferably 6 months or longer.
