Southfields Veterinary Specialists are currently recruiting a Surgery intern who is registered with the RCVS.

This is a Fixed Term 12-month position. Contracted for 40 hours per week and participation in OOH Rotation 1 in 3 weeks.
We are an outgoing and friendly team, who are looking for an enthusiastic and hard-working vet who is willing to be part of our soft tissue and Orthopaedic surgical service. Currently formed by four senior clinicians, one resident, and 2 interns.

Surgical interns at Southfields have an important role within the service, as they are considered more like a first year resident and manage their surgical patients, including owner communication. Furthermore, surgical interns usually assist the main senior clinicians in theatre and are in charge of follow-up of the patients until their discharge.

Salary Value: £38,100 per annum;
