About the role
We’re building a new Supply Strategy capability at Diageo, and this role shapes the core supply strategy for our global network. As Supply Strategy Senior Manager, you will tackle the big strategic questions: how Diageo’s ambitions translate into category, market and functional plans, and what capabilities and investments our supply chain needs for the next decade.
You’ll lead both the Present Forward (1–3 year) and Future Back (5–10 year) strategy work, working closely with the Enterprise Strategy lead to ensure supply strategy feeds seamlessly into the wider enterprise agenda. You’ll also support category and functional strategy development, with exposure across Scotch, Planning & Logistics, Procurement and Technical.
What you’ll do
Build Supply Present Forward and Future Back strategies
Translate enterprise ambitions into clear supply choices and investment priorities
Integrate category, market and functional strategies into a single supply narrative
Support Scotch strategy development and broader category strategy work
Contribute to AOP, ASC and long-term supply planning
Partner with Planning & Logistics, Procurement and Technical to align functional strategies
Manage and develop an Analyst within the strategy team
What you’ll bring
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capability
Experience in strategy, supply chain, or a strategy/commercial/supply interface role
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to simplify complexity
Confident communicator able to influence senior stakeholders
Strong organisation and decision-making capability
