Job Title:

Supply Chain Support

Summary:

Responsible for managing inventory and preparing Demand Review reports to support planning activities. Work with external suppliers to obtain confirmations for Direct Material Purchase Orders. Maintain accurate planning data and update realistic delivery dates for Stock Transfer Orders in SAP to ensure proper supply planning and coordination.

Responsibilities Include:

1. Direct Materials PO Confirmation Activities:

  • Follow up with suppliers in a timely manner to obtain the latest supply confirmation and update delivery dates in SAP.
  • Coordinate with regional Commodity Managers , procurement, and IT teams to improve the Ariba PO confirmation process.
  • Work with external suppliers to obtain ANID (Ariba Network Identification) to support the vendor onboarding process.

2. STO Alignment:

  • Analyse and align Stock Transport Orders (STOs) with realistic material availability dates.
  • Ensure timely communication with logistics and planning teams regarding any STO misalignment.

3. Identify and pursue continuous improvement opportunities to enhance data management and standardize processes.

4. Provide support in preparing inventory management reports based on stakeholder requirements.

Qualifications:

The following are required for the role

  • BBM / B.Com / M.Com / MBA in Supply Chain Management.
  • Minimum 1 to 2 years of Experience in Supply Chain Management.
  • Experienced user in SAP MRP/MM.
