Who we're looking for

We're looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join our Barcelona Marketing Analytics team, partnering closely with Lifecycle Marketing (our CRM / retention function) to shape how Rover measures and grows long-term customer value.

The Barcelona team's north star is simple: drive more repeat bookings and lengthen LTV across both pet parents and sitters. Everything we do, from email and push experimentation to attribution work to measurement framework design, ladders up to that.

You'll own meaningful pieces of that work as an independent contributor. You'll be the person who turns messy marketing data into reporting that leadership can actually lean on; who partners with our Lifecycle Marketing, Martech, and Analytics Engineering teams to QA business logic and keep our data clean; and who designs and analyzes tests, not only classic A/B tests, but cross-channel retargeting and BD experiments where the measurement gets harder. When our holdout strategy hits its limits, you'll be part of the team figuring out what comes next.

This role rewards intellectual curiosity. Our incrementality analyses wrestle with real puzzles: mix-shift between markets, novelty-effect decay on mature cohorts, holdout leakage, and interaction between transactional and marketing sends. We don't expect you to have solved all of these before—we expect you to be genuinely excited to dig in.

And because Rover is a two-sided marketplace, you'll hold both sides in mind. The best analyses we do connect the dots.
