Overview
The Stockroom Manager for Supply Chain Management (SCM) is responsible for the daily leadership and operational oversight of all stockroom activities across the Riverside Health System (RHS). This role manages the end‑to‑end flow of supplies within the stockroom, including receiving, put‑away, inventory control, replenishment, distribution, returns, and repairs. The manager ensures the accuracy, organization, and availability of critical supplies that support clinical operations. The Stockroom Manager oversees stockroom technicians, coordinators, and couriers, providing direction for scheduling, workflow distribution, performance standards, and operational quality. This position is accountable for maintaining efficient stockroom processes, optimizing inventory levels, and fostering strong team engagement to ensure reliable, timely materials management services throughout RHS.

What you will do
  • Identify, implement, and support cost‑reduction initiatives and supply standardization efforts specific to stockroom inventory and replenishment workflows.
  • Lead and support stockroom staff in executing efficient, accurate, and customer‑focused materials management processes to ensure high service levels for clinical teams, patients, and visitors.
  • Oversee the implementation, consolidation, and standardization of Supply Chain Stockroom Operations to improve fill rates, enhance service levels, and reduce unnecessary inventory across assigned locations.
  • Ensure all daily cycle counts, stock adjustments, equipment repairs, and return‑to‑vendor processes are completed accurately and on schedule.
  • Cultivate and maintain positive working relationships with the primary distributor, contracted suppliers, and key clinical stakeholders to support reliable, high‑quality supply availability.
  • Assist in developing, updating, and enforcing Supply Chain Management policies and procedures related to Distribution, Logistics, and Stockroom Operations.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of accurate job descriptions for stockroom and supply chain team members to ensure role clarity and operational consistency.

Qualifications

Education
  • Bachelors Degree, Business Administration, Management, Logistics, or related field (Required) or
  • , Minimum 10 years Management Experience in Supply Chain Management (Required)

Experience
  • 5-6 years Management experience in supply chain management (Required)
  • 7-10 years Inventory management, distribution, stockroom and/or logistics experience in a hospital or health system setting (Preferred)
  • Experience with Workday Enterprise Resource Planning System, EPIC and Par Excellence (Preferred)

Licenses and Certifications
  • Certified Materials Resource Planner (or equivalent) (Preferred)
