Key Responsibilities
Plan, schedule, and continuously update production and material plans in SAP (MRP / Logistics) to align demand, capacity, and material availability
Monitor inventory levels, demand signals, and MRP outputs; identify shortages, excess stock, and planning inconsistencies
Perform analytical assessments of material availability, production capacity, forecasts, and subcontracting needs to support planning decisions
Monitor customer orders and delivery commitments, proactively managing priorities and exceptions in cooperation with Customer Service
Translate demand and forecasts into feasible production schedules, considering machine capacity, workforce availability, and material constraints
Support purchasing and material planning activities, including RFQs, purchase orders, supplier delivery tracking, and escalation of risks
Maintain and validate planning‑relevant master data in SAP (lead times, lot sizes, safety stock, MRP parameters)
Analyze plan execution, identify deviations, root causes, and improvement opportunities
Prepare, monitor, and interpret Supply Chain KPIs and operational reports to support data‑driven decision‑making
Actively participate in operational planning meetings and contribute to continuous improvement and Supply Chain projects
Key Competences
Strong experience with ERP systems – SAP MRP / Logistics knowledge is mandatory
Highly analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and draw conclusions
Good communication skills across teams, departments, and suppliers
Ability to influence decisions and drive constructive outcomes
Understanding of planning and scheduling principles and the impact of deviations
Problem‑solving orientation and continuous improvement mindset
Proactivity, ownership, and responsibility for assigned scope
Communicative English (minimum B2); additional languages are an advantage
Minimum Education or Equivalent Experience
Higher education in Logistics, Production Planning, Purchasing, or related fields
Technical faculties are welcome
Experience in a production plant is a strong advantage
