Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, schedule, and continuously update production and material plans in SAP (MRP / Logistics) to align demand, capacity, and material availability

  • Monitor inventory levels, demand signals, and MRP outputs; identify shortages, excess stock, and planning inconsistencies

  • Perform analytical assessments of material availability, production capacity, forecasts, and subcontracting needs to support planning decisions

  • Monitor customer orders and delivery commitments, proactively managing priorities and exceptions in cooperation with Customer Service

  • Translate demand and forecasts into feasible production schedules, considering machine capacity, workforce availability, and material constraints

  • Support purchasing and material planning activities, including RFQs, purchase orders, supplier delivery tracking, and escalation of risks

  • Maintain and validate planning‑relevant master data in SAP (lead times, lot sizes, safety stock, MRP parameters)

  • Analyze plan execution, identify deviations, root causes, and improvement opportunities

  • Prepare, monitor, and interpret Supply Chain KPIs and operational reports to support data‑driven decision‑making

  • Actively participate in operational planning meetings and contribute to continuous improvement and Supply Chain projects

Key Competences

  • Strong experience with ERP systems – SAP MRP / Logistics knowledge is mandatory

  • Highly analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and draw conclusions

  • Good communication skills across teams, departments, and suppliers

  • Ability to influence decisions and drive constructive outcomes

  • Understanding of planning and scheduling principles and the impact of deviations

  • Problem‑solving orientation and continuous improvement mindset

  • Proactivity, ownership, and responsibility for assigned scope

  • Communicative English (minimum B2); additional languages are an advantage

Minimum Education or Equivalent Experience

  • Higher education in Logistics, Production Planning, Purchasing, or related fields

  • Technical faculties are welcome

  • Experience in a production plant is a strong advantage
