Collins Aerospace is looking to hire a Senior Manager. In this role, you will have overall responsibility for the performance of the supply chain team for the Oxygen business located in Lubeck Germany.
As our Senior Supply Chain Manager, you’ll be the go-to leader for solving problems, removing roadblocks, and ensuring suppliers deliver on time. This role is about more than managing processes—it’s about jumping in when issues arise, driving solutions, and keeping production moving.
Working closely with suppliers worldwide, you’ll play a critical role in delivering affordable, high-quality parts that meet the dynamic needs of our customers. You’ll not only fight today’s fires but also drive long-term process improvements that strengthen supply chain performance and enhance profitability.

What you will do
Drive performance of the supply chain to meet or exceed quality, delivery and cost targets.
Manage productivity and efficiency, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Support business SIOP by analyzing data to identify trends, risks and impact to the organization. Reducing the risk through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Managing and leading a team to support supply chain activities supporting the Oxygen Value Stream
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Program Management, Engineering, and Production Operations
Developing and implementing strategies to mitigate supply chain risks and addressing issues related to supplier on-time delivery
Manages execution of processes, standards, and operational plans in support of Procurement/MRP strategy, including RFPs, negotiation strategy, cost accountability, program execution, inventory management.
Authorizes purchase orders, negotiates prices and approves payments to support the procurement process
Support and engage with various functional areas as part of an Integrated Project Team (IPT) to resolve supply chain issues and serve as supply chain SME for other functional areas
Serve as supply chain lead for responding to internal and external audits regarding supply chain policies and procedures

Experience & Skills
Preferred degree and prior relevant experience
Proven experience in materials management or similar environment
Advanced knowledge of supply chain, vendor management, risk assessment/mitigation & performance management
Management experience of a team
Proficient ERP experience, SAP highly preferred
Experience working in a matrix organization and multi-site leadership
Degree in Business/Supply Chain/Engineering Related Subject preferred
Experience working in the Aerospace industry is highly advantageous
Fluent in German and English (verbal and written)
Certifications
