The anticpated salary range is up to $110,000.00. Salary is based on experience. For internal teammates, compensation will be reviewed and determined in partnership with HR, taking into consideration internal equity and experience.
Job Summary
The Supply Chain Planning Analytics Analyst is responsible for improving supply chain planning decision quality through analytics, scenario evaluation, testing participation, and data stewardship. This role partners closely with Supply Chain Planning, Finance, and IT to analyze the impact of planning policies, parameters, and data on service, inventory, cost, and execution risk.
The position participates in system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT) to develop a deep understanding of planning data, its origins, and behavior within the supply chain planning system.
Leveraging this understanding, the role evaluates trade‑offs, quantifies business impact, and provides actionable insights that support continuous improvement, transformation initiatives, and effective planning governance.
This role does not own system configuration, but serves as a trusted business interpreter of planning outcomes and data integrity.
Core Responsibilities

Analyze supply chain planning policies, parameters, and scenarios to evaluate impacts on service levels, inventory investment, working capital, and execution risk
Develop and execute scenario analyses to assess trade‑offs across demand, supply, inventory, and capacity decisions
Participate in system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT) to understand planning data lineage, assumptions, and system behavior
Validate that planning logic and data produce expected business outcomes and identify root causes of unexpected results
Translate testing insights into actionable recommendations for planners, business leaders, and cross‑functional partners
Serve as a business steward for planning data by helping define standards for accuracy, completeness, and usability
Identify data quality issues, quantify business impact, and partner with IT and master data owners to prioritize governance improvements
Support the development and maintenance of planning data definitions, assumptions, documentation, and governance routines
Use analytical tools (e.g., Python, SQL, Alteryx) to automate analysis, validate outcomes, and support repeatable decision‑making
Communicate complex analytical findings clearly to non‑technical stakeholders to support informed decisions
Contribute to supply chain transformation initiatives by enabling better planning practices, analytics adoption, and decision discipline
Qualifying Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, Operations Research, or a related field
5–8 years of experience in supply chain planning, analytics, or related business roles
Experience supporting demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, or IBP/S&OP processes
Experience participating in system testing (SIT/UAT) or major system/process changes strongly preferred
Ability to travel ~10% to Distribution Centers and Plants.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Strong understanding of supply chain planning concepts and trade‑offs (service, inventory, cost, risk)
Proven ability to analyze complex data, identify root causes, and translate insights into business recommendations
Proficiency with analytical tools such as Python, SQL, Alteryx, and advanced Excel
Working knowledge of SAP IBP or similar advanced planning systems preferred
Ability to assess data quality and understand data lineage across integrated systems
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain analytical and technical concepts to business audiences
Demonstrated ability to work cross‑functionally and influence outcomes without direct authority
Structured problem‑solving mindset and attention to detail
Ability to balance analytical rigor with practical business judgment
