Key Purpose:
- Manage and process Demand control proactively (assure that the orders respect the agreed demand plan, identify abnormal demands, abnormal trends and take actions);
- Track demand with intention of adjusting the demand plan due to changes. Heavy reliance on root cause analysis to determine changes to short term forecast.
- Be the main point of contact between Customer Logistics team, supply chain, Demand Planning, Commercial and customers.
- Owns and oversee processes around demand execution (Demand Monitoring, Demand Plan Change requests, Abnormal Order Management) and leads the oversight of related KPI
- Chair and drive continuous improvement reviews on supply chain and customer service optimisation.
- Update and balance the master plan for operations for production within the UD Division at the appropriate level of detail to drive operational and logistics activity.
- Minimise costs, maximise operational capability and create a platform for service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the daily abnormal order process, identify priorities and, on receiving supply chain feedback, decide if abnormal demand should be supplied.
- Own the daily demand plan change request process, liaising with KAM’s as to why the demand plan should be changed. Authorise change requests and determine if the change should be accepted. This process will include changes to event dates.
- Own the weekly demand monitoring process, highlight over and underselling by exception to KAM’s and push for clarity and recovery plans.
- Own the forecast consumption and roll process, determine the performance of the current settings and adjust in line with performance. Decide if unconsumed forecast should be removed from the system.
- Coordinate and direct the relevant teams when there is a mismatch between supply and demand capability making best for business choices on the available information.
- Chair the demand review to improve performance measures and coordinate on significant changes and risks.
- Update the business on key areas of opportunity or risk in a timely manner.
- Identify and drive improvement activities across process, tools and behaviours based on KPI measures and in role observations.
- Maintain the weekly operational master plan covering the period from 13 weeks to the planning time fence. Highlight constraints and recommend GAP closing actions.
- Identify where finished goods anticipation stock is required and support the SC Planning and IBP Manager in the implementation.
- Support the SC Planning and IBP Manager in maintaining the monthly operational master plan covering the period from 13 weeks to 24 months. Highlight constraints and recommend GAP closing actions.
- Provide a forecast for long lead-time generic components to guide the materials ordering team and highlight constraints as appropriate.
- Support the finished goods safety stock setting process.
- Understand how the SAP and planning master data setup can be used to support the planning process.
- Chair the monthly site planning review deploying the final supply plan and describing the necessary trade-offs to the supporting functions.
- Support the process to understand capacity constraints in suppliers, ensure that seasonal effects and new products are anticipated and managed accordingly.

Technical Competencies & Qualifications:
- High level of numeracy and a good level of literacy
- Ideally have 3 years experience of supply chain within FMCG environment
- Ideally experience of planning processes
- Experience in demand and planning systems would be a benefit
- SAP & system knowledge
- Language : good knowledge of English and French
