This role will be responsible for leading the supply chain team, focus on 3PLs management on cost and service standard and cost spending, demand and supply planning for a portfolio of products where Sales & Operations Planning Process is a critical part. Develops the consensus statement of demand and understands and addresses any supply constraints and is also involved with overall product supply capacity planning. In addition is the key contact for Sales and Marketing and participates in the product life-cycle management process and is responsible for managing the forecast which contributes to the delivery of inventory and service targets for the assigned portfolio(s).
The key responsibilities of the incumbent would be:
- Propagates and communicates of the S&OP discipline in the country through the conduct of regular & detailed demand reviews with Sales Director to discuss the latest sales rolling forecast, to generate a validated and signed off demand forecast by the correspondence Sales Director for roll-up in demand planning in Logility.
- Maintains accurate data in G3 SAP to enable proper data analytics.
- Conducts regular, monthly demand reviews with sales director/sales team that extracts market updates, fosters a collaborative & open discussion that enriches the demand forecasting process and results to better SFA & bias results.
- Provides regular updates to Management and to Sales on MTD sales performance vis-a-vis the latest demand forecast, to enable corrective action plans to be affected and to help ensure the achievement of the sales target as well as the WC budget.
- Provides detailed SFA & Bias monthly results to Management that shows the drivers of forecast errors, for Sales action planning & correction.
- Conducts monthly business reviews with 3PCM's together with Procurement & QA to discuss KPI results, current production concerns that may impact supply, as well as projects in the pipeline that improves supply continuity and KPI achievement.
- Management 3PLs service standard and warehouse condition to align with regulation & EHS requirement
- Inventory management, meet AOP target, accuracy between physical and system, aging and disposal and cycle count
- Control on supply chain cost, inbound freight, sales freight, primary transfer & warehouse cost
- Reviews the monthly OTIF reports to provide key reasons affecting delay delivery and coordinate with correspondence team to have corrective action plan to improve service standard and meet OTIF target
- Reviews inventory on a weekly base to ensure supply assurance and slow-moving stock monitor and work with correspondence team to have stock clearance actions to improve working capital AOP
