The Interiors Responsibility Center South Carolina (IRCSC) is seeking a First Line Supply Chain Manager (K Level) to support the 787 Dreamliner program based in Ladson, South Carolina. You will engage in continuous improvement of the IRCSC site to support 787 program rates and Boeing Global Services (BGS) aftermarket growth.

Your role manages teammates in various supply chain disciplines, ensuring safety, high quality and efficient operations. This role involves collaborating and working with various teams to execute safety, quality, delivery, and cost commitments using the Boeing Production system.

Successful candidates will have interpersonal and coaching skills that empower their teams to complete work safely and with First Pass Quality. Additionally, the ideal candidate will possess high level analytical and problem solving skills as well as project management experience.

Position Responsibilities:   

  • Manages employees analyzing supply chain material requirements, developing and optimizing inventory planning and synchronizing supply chain demands

  • Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals

  • Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements

  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and direct reports

  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes

  • Manages, develops, coaches, and motivates employees

  • Demonstrates commitment to safety and Incident & Injury Free (IIF) principles

  • Leads efforts to maintain compliance, problem solve, mitigate risk and resolve issues to program

  • Possesses a mindset of safety, quality, continuous improvement & teamwork

  • Influences the team culture by leading and modeling Boeing Values and Behaviors

  • Develops, analyzes and maintains tools, information, and established Boeing processes, in support of Supply Chain Management

  • Manages daily performance and progress against established KPIs

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in materials management and/or supply chain management

  • 3+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal role

  • 3+ years of experience advising and influencing managers/non-managers to meet organizational goals

  • 1+ years of experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP/SAP) systems

  • Willingness to work any shift based on business needs

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or related discipline

  • 1+ years of composites fabrication experience

  • 3+ years of experience in an aerospace or manufacturing environment

  • 3+ years of experience participating in Lean/Six Sigma processes and initiatives

  • Experience working with safety and quality processes and procedures

Shift:
This position is 1st shift. Willingness to work any shift to support business needs is required.

Summary pay range: $108,000 - $132,000
