A Supply Chain Manager is responsible for procurement, inventory control, distribution, and product sourcing for their assigned segment of the Andrews’ portfolio or Operations in support of the company’s strategic and operational priorities. The Supply Chain Manager researches and develops recommendations to improve productivity, quality and efficiency of operations. This role is part of the Operations team.

A Supply Chain Manager can be expected to perform the following tasks in this role as a routine part of their job:
- Defines and drives the supply chain direction and strategic priorities for the company.
- Develops integrated supply chain strategies that aligns strategically with the company’s growth and financial objectives.
- Manages cost and performance of inventory levels and distribution performance across a large number of SKUs, sources and market fluctuations.
- Analyzes, determines and implements supply chain/logistics practices and procedures surrounding areas of responsibility; inventory control, warehouse optimization and sourcing/procurement.
- Analyzes the company’s long- and short-term goals to assess and implement the most effective strategic practices in support of the company’s growth and business models.
- Aligns purchasing and distribution standards/processes to support planning for the marketing and selling channels and business fluctuations.

QUALIFICATIONS
A qualified candidate for the Supply Chain Manager role should satisfy the expectations below:
Here's what you must have to be considered for this role:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Related Field
- Five Plus Years Management Experience in Supply Chain/Logistics; Preferably in a Wholesale or Consumer Goods Industry
- In Depth Knowledge of, and Expertise in, Supply Chain/Logistics Industry and Professional Best Practices
- Advanced Technology/Computer Skills; Advanced MS Office skills (i.e. Excel – VLOOKUP, Pivot tables, etc)
- Proven Experience/Success in Sourcing and Affiliated Compliance/Regulations
- Strong Negotiation Skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Ability to maintain a sustained posture in a seated position for prolonged periods of time and operate computer equipment.
- Ability to bend, stoop, and twist is required for filing and general office duties.
- Exerts up to 10 lbs of force occasionally and/or negligible amount frequently to move office-related items or materials.
- Ability to use a personal computer for tasks such as communicating via email and preparing reports and other forms of documentation using company and industry software.
- Ability to speak, hear, and see is required to communicate with employees, and to operate computers and office machinery.
- Hand-eye coordination and fine manipulation skills are necessary to operate computers and various office equipment.
- Continual hand/wrist motion is required to operate computers and office machinery.
- Ability to perform job functions in compliance with company policies and procedures, including safety policies and best practices.
- Must maintain regular and punctual attendance.
