Job Description:

Supplier Performance Management team is focused on Subcontractor/Supplier Management. We drive cost controls, governance and performance management, assuring the optimal flexible workforce footprint across EMEA & LATAM at an optimized cost, and we collaborate with Vendor Management and Global Procurement for price efficiency.
We manage multiple strategic suppliers, who delivers HPE Break-fix, Installation and Multivendor services in LATAM countries. Supplier’s quality and financial performance (SLA, KPI, TCE) needs to be managed from country level to regional level.
Role of Supplier Performance Manager usually consists of overseeing compliance with operating procedures and standards, missed case analysis, driving corrective action plans, country level cooperation with Global Support Remote and Supply Chain, and with the Customer Experience organization and Supplier's Service Delivery Manager.
Supplier Performance Manager can be also heavily involved in contract (Statement of Work) creation and related Purchase Orders creation and management/monitoring.

How you will make your mark:

A) Administrative – participating on contracting the Supplier via SoW, requesting Purchase Orders and monitoring payments.

  • Interaction at local level with other Supplier Performance Managers, Vendor Management, Global Procurement.

  • Transforming business and customer support requirements into the contract with suppliers. Adjusting ‘Statement of Work’ contract template to fit the customer/support/country need.

  • Purchase Order (PO) & Invoice management for LATAM Suppliers (break-fix and multivendor services).

  • Overview of all Supplier POs in LATAM. Tracking expirations and renewal needs. Control of proper PO spend/payment to suppliers on monthly basis.

B)   Operational – quality, performance, management of support delivery Suppliers

  • Manage quality of support services delivered by the supplier. Delivered services include repairs of faulty servers, storages, switches or installations on new ones.

  • Responsible for the Supplier’s service delivery performance and daily interaction and cooperation with other HPE teams within the Support organization and with the Supplier’s Service Delivery Manager. It can cover single or multiple countries

  • Monitors daily activity (e.g., support tickets) dispatched to Supplier using internal HPE tools and dashboards.

  • Assures, that supplier’s engineer who performed service also reports all the work done properly (start & end time, repair and delay codes, proper summary description of performed activity).

  • Analyze weekly and monthly reports, by identifying tickets, where Supplier repaired or installed device after the requested time (deadline).

  • Propose and drive corrective actions to eliminate such similar missed repairs in the future.

  • On monthly basis to prepare and present internally the Supplier’s performance.

  • Participate in internal team meetings and external ones (with Supplier), if required.

  • Communicate with external HPE Suppliers and Customers, if needed

  • Get opportunity to understand how the business and relationship works in-between the biggest worldwide companies, who are HPE’s customers.

About you:

  • Typically, 4+ years to establish proven track record in directly related business.

  • Typically, second level university degree or equivalent work experience; advanced degree is a plus.

  • English and Spanish language (Portuguese is bonus)

  • MS Excel and proficiency with desktop applications.

  • Moderate knowledge of IT and services industry knowledge of the company's organization, policies, services offerings, end to end processes, tools, and routes to market.

  • Knowledge of Vendor Management topics (Statement of Work, Purchase Orders, Invoices, Ariba tool....) is a bonus

  • Knowledge of HPE E2E support/service processes and Multivendor topic are welcomed.

  • Problem detection and analysis of root cause.

  • Moderate level of planning, project management and change management skills.

  • Good communication skills.
