Salary Range: $108019 - $140426 Per Year

Job Summary: You will serve as a SUPERVISORY MANAGEMENT AND PROGRAM ANALYST in the Nuclear Process and Program Support Branch (Code 2301.4) under the Assistant Nuclear Engineering and Planning Manager (Code 2301) in the Nuclear Engineering and Planning Department (Code 2300) at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY), of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD.

Major Duties:

  • You will be responsible for development of program analysts, management analysts, technical library specialists, and administrative support assistants.
  • You will serve as an expert management analyst with responsibility for the Nuclear Engineering and Planning Department (NEPD) with full technical management responsibility for programs with direct impact on the NEPD as well as the shipyard.
  • Consolidates annual funding estimates into a complete budget request for the department, organizes estimates by appropriation, object class, and line item following current budget instructions.
  • You will support the Head Nuclear Engineer (Code 2309) with administration of these programs and routine reporting and analysis of the programs.

Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience demonstrating knowledge of Integrated Staffing Plans and the Workload and Resource Report at Norfolk Naval Shipyard. Experience demonstrating knowledge of Department of Navy budgetary practices to include Direct Labor Index and Overhead. Experience processing personnel actions within the Department of Navy. Experience applying analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to prepare official correspondence and interpret data/reports and resolve problems.
