Contract Field Deployment Technician

About the Role

Yondu AI is deploying humanoid robots in a live warehouse environment and needs a hands-on contract technician to support the on-site deployment. This is a short-term, high-impact role where you'll work directly alongside our team to get systems operational in the field. You'll be present on-site in Fontana, CA for the duration of the engagement.

What You'll Be Doing

• Supporting the physical and software setup of humanoid robots in an active warehouse environment
• Troubleshooting hardware and software issues as they arise on the floor
• Coordinating with the Yondu AI team to ensure deployment milestones are met on schedule

What We're Looking For

• Local to the Ontario/Fontana, CA area or close enough to commute reliably for the full 3-week engagement
• We are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment
• Proficiency with Linux would be nice
• Background in robotics or adjacent fields is a major plus
• Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent hands-on technical background preferred but we will consider applicant holistically 
• We will consider applicants without a formal degree who have strong, relevant field experience

Nice to Have

• Prior deployment or field service experience with robotic systems
• Experience in logistics or warehouse automation environments

Compensation 20$-40$ based on experience.
