Major Duties:

  • You will provide direction, coordination and supervision for the Logistic Support Team (LST).
  • You will ensure the accuracy of all documents and automated records in relation to the receipt, storage and issue of ordnance end items.
  • You will serve as the Ordnance Department's Inventory Coordinator.
  • You will monitor automated system for the proper storage assignment of newly receipted material.
  • You will supervise all functions related to reconciling assets to actual physical count.
  • You will ensure physical inventory is properly tagged/labeled.

Qualifications: GS-11 Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience providing direction, coordination and supervision for a Logistics Team. Experience with processing requisitions, preparing documents for shipping and intra-station movement of assets is needed. Experience maintaining accurate records of assets stored by physically inventorying material and reporting same through automated systems. Experience accurately filing all documents and automated records in a timely manner. Experience planning and supervising a subordinate workforce, effectively coordinating work efforts with other functional areas. Experience interpreting complex written instructions and technical publications is required. Experience understanding the theories and principals involved in the establishment of Quantity-Distance Tables, Storage Tables and Space Control techniques. Experience presenting orally and utilizing skills for formal presentations.
