Salary Range: $125776 - $187903 Per Year

Job Summary: You will serve as a SUPERVISORY HR SPECIALIST (CLASSIFICATION) of NAVMEDSUP DET JACKSONVILLE FL.

Major Duties:

  • You will evaluate, identify, implement and link HR products to ensure cohesive products and services are provided across the BUMED organization.
  • You will serve as the Principal Classifier and Classification and Compensation Program Manager for BUMED HRO.
  • You will technically and administratively supervise and manage a team of HR Specialists.
  • You will lead command management assessments to determine the state and effectiveness of HR programs and services throughout Navy Medicine.
  • You will participate in long term strategic planning for the BUMED HRO identifying short-term and long-term compensation and classification direction.

Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience applying a wide range of principles, concepts, and practices of Human Resources (Classification) sufficient to perform difficult and complex work assignments. Experience utilizing quantitative and qualitative analysis and investigative techniques in order to synthesize data, evaluate significant factors. Experience recommending ways to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of work operations. Experience improving program goals and objectives, work processes, and administrative operations of the organization and occupation. Experience planning, scheduling, and conducting analyses and occupational projects.
